Description

To respond to the Lebanese crisis Fifty Fifty with the help of the British Embassy in Lebanon, launched a campaign called “Girls Education” to help female students in universities.

This program aimed at helping and supporting female students with big dreams to continue their education.

Activities
  • Posted on all our social media outlets the campaign of “Girl’s Education”.
  • After receiving all applicants, Fifty Fifty called the universities and concerned parties to make sure each case was legitimate.
  • Tuition fees were paid, and laptops were distributed to female students.
  • Conducted a video for each student to highlight the importance of girls in education.
Outcomes
  • More than 30 female students were able to continue their academic year whether by having tuition fees paid or/and by acquiring IT tools.
  • Showcasing the importance of education in one’s life especially for girls, due to the patriarchal society.
