      Description

“Stronger with Women” is a project supported by the British Embassy in Beirut. This project was organized in collaboration with Fifty Fifty, Global Partners Governance (GPG), ATALANTA and The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST).

It aimed at increasing female political leaders and female voices in political decision-making across the Lebanese National and Municipal government.

      Activities
      • Fifty Fifty and the partners conducted meetings with independent women that have ran in previous elections and who still want to run in the future elections.
      • Fifty Fifty, GPG and representatives from the British embassy conducted meetings with the head of women wings in political parties.
      • Training sessions with both the independent women and politically affiliated women with different experts.
      Outcomes
      • Fifty Fifty and the international community were able to hear and analyze the barriers women face in politics.
      • Women acquired knowledge and public speaking skills from the training sessions with the experts.
