Maya has an IATA Diploma in aviation and navigation services in 2008. She also has a bachelor’s degree in public rights from USJ – Faculty of law and a Lebanese license in law from USJ – faculty of law in 1997. She earned a philosophy degree from Saint Joseph College – Antoura in 1992.
She started working as a Lebanese Syndicate of Lawyers “Registration number 7218” from 1997. With many more professional experiences as a lawyer, legal consultant, member of the human rights committee of the bar association in Beirut, appointed a lawyer state since 2013. Maya is the president of the Lebanese Forces party’s women assembly and Member of the Central Council of the Lebanese Forces Party since 2014. Since 2017 she is the Member of National Commission for Lebanese Women and the Head of political committee in the national commission for Lebanese Women. She worked with MP Elie Keyrouz and MP Georges Okais on several law project such child marriage and Marital rape and working on amending the labor law from 2018 till 2019. And since then, she is the Member of the labor Law amendment committee at the Ministry of Labor and the Adviser to the Minister of Social Affairs (Minister Richard Kouyoumoujian). In 2019 she got 3 certificates in specialized training courses for women in Arab countries in the field of observing general elections held by Arab Women Organization within the framework of the political empowerment program in 2019 from the Arab Women Organization.
