Kholoud Wattar Kassem is graduated from the American University of Beirut with a BA in Sociology/Anthropology and a diploma in child education to join Terre Des Homes organization as a volunteer during the civil war to help less fortunate children with medical problems. In 2000, she started supporting NGOs through actively promoting them and in 2010, went back to university to get her master’s in political sociology. Ms. Kassem was a candidate to the Lebanese Parliamentary Elections in 2014 and became the first Arab woman in the Women in Parliament Global Forum representing the MENA Region. In 2017, she became the Global advisor for Women Political Leaders Global Forum.
