Rima Koteich El-Husseini earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and her master’s degree in Money & Banking from the American University of Beirut (AUB). She leads Blessing, a company specialized in chocolates and gifts for luxury events. After graduating from AUB, Rima served Citi Bank for 5 years. She and her sister, Rana, created the Blessing brand in 1996 and have since expanded the company in the Middle East, with branches in Riyadh, Khobar, Bahrain and Oman, in addition to Lebanon’s main boutique and workshop. Rima plans to expand the business to the U.S. and Europe. In 2012, she attended the Fortune/U.S. State Department Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership, then founded The Blessing Foundation, an organization aimed at empowering women in business. She is a winner of the 2015 TIAW World of Difference 100 Award and was elected as The Most Impactful Lebanese Woman for 2016. She is also one of the two winners of the Goldman Sachs/Fortune Global Women Leaders Award for 2016.
