Lina AbiRafeh, PhD, is a global women’s rights expert and gender equality advocate with over 20 years of experience in development and humanitarian work across countries like Afghanistan, Haiti, and Papua New Guinea. She served as the Executive Director and now Senior Advisor for Global Women’s Rights at the Arab Institute for Women at the Lebanese American University. Lina is an accomplished author and speaker on gender issues, with publications including two books and appearances on global platforms such as CNN, BBC, and TEDx. She sits on the boards of numerous women’s rights organizations and has been recognized with awards like the Gender Equality Top 100 and a Vital Voices fellowship.
