Layal Bou Moussa, born in 1988, is from the village of Aabreen in the Batroun district. She is a journalist in the news and political programs department at Al Jadeed TV, specializing in preparation, research, and investigative journalism. She produces reports and investigations for the news bulletin as part of the investigative unit at Al Jadeed TV and works as a researcher and investigative producer for the program “Taht Taelat Al Mas’ouliya” (Under Accountability). Layal holds a postgraduate degree in private law from Sagesse University. Her interests focus on defending political, social, and economic human rights and combating corruption in all its forms, wherever it may be found. She has participated in workshops related to the principles of investigative journalism, as well as workshops on topics such as participatory approaches to local development, simple local development plans, how to manage environmental heritage, and the capacity of civil society to change systems, among others.
