Faten Younes is the Director General of Political Affairs and Refugees at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities in Lebanon, a position she has held since 2014. With over 30 years of experience, she is a distinguished leader in public administration, governance, and electoral management.
She is a founding member of the Arab Organization for Electoral Administrations (ArabEMBS) and has played a pivotal role in advancing electoral systems in the Arab region.
In addition to her leadership role in public affairs, Faten has been an active member of the National Commission for Lebanese Women. She served as Chairperson of the Committee on Women’s Participation in Political Decision Making in 2020 and as a member of the Executive Office from 2017 to 2020. Between 2021 and 2023, she continued her advocacy as a member of the Committee on Women’s Participation in Political Decision Making.
Faten is also a sought-after professional trainer and coach, offering expertise in corporate training, executive coaching, interview preparation, public speaking, and resume writing and review. She is highly skilled in team building, training delivery, online research, and user experience writing, helping individuals and organizations enhance their performance and achieve their goals.
