Description
- This project aims at encouraging young dynamic individuals all over Lebanon to become effective citizens and be part of the solutions to achieve positive change and build their involvement in local governance.
- The project will empower the youths to become leaders making a meaningful contribution to the welfare of their communities
Activities
- Recruiting 120 female and male young individuals from all over Lebanon to be trained.
- Creating a pool of experts to support the youth and coach them in a bootcamp tailored for the young individual’s needs.
- The 120 will be distributed along 6 Muhafazat, and each group will be presenting a draft of problems and solutions for each Muhafaza.
- One winning group will be implementing its activity by the supervision of a female mentor.
- Each group will create a video on a theme of their choice and it will be published on Fiftyfifty’s social media outlets.
Outcomes
- Change in the mindset regarding youth in politics and decision making positions.
- 120 young girls and boys are equipped with political knowledge and soft skills.
- Participants involve in local development at community level.
- Participants raise their voices, demands, issues, and ideas.
- Exposure of the participants to the political scene.
- Expanding Fiftyfifty’s network of young individuals.
