This project aims to consult and work closely with electoral and legal experts to develop the best possible scenarios to implement and lobby for a gender quota for the upcoming Municipal elections.

•  Creating and managing the “Vote for Women” social media platform which will raise awareness about the female quota law for municipal elections.
• Continue Lobbying with the stakeholders (MPs and Political Parties) to endorse the gender quota law.

• Conduct awareness sessions for youths, men, and women throughout Lebanon about the importance of women’s participation in politics and municipal work.

• Creating and managing the Women Power website featuring female candidates in parliament and government positions at present.

• Raising awareness about why it is essential to have more women in politics and the municipal work, and the female political representation.
• Submitting a proposed gender quota law and discussing it in Plenary sessions.
• Organizing a quota coalition to promote and lobby for the quota proposal’s endorsement.
