Job Duties: 

  1. With a primary responsibility of supporting the CEO, provide support to the executive team as directed to ensure that NGO’s goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently.
  2. Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  3. Handle all office expenditures and contracts (rent, services, inventory, etc.)
  4. Perform basic bookkeeping activities (petty cash; issue invoices; bank transfers, etc)
  5. Maintain files and records with effective filing system
  6. Ensure policies and procedures are implemented as per Fifty Fifty Manuals and update them as needed
  7. Support with project activities as needed or as requested by the Program Managers
  8. Perform any related duties that may be assigned by the CEO.

Experience:

  • 5+ year experience in administrative, accounting and managerial role reporting directly to upper management
  • NGO experience is a must

Skills and Abilities:

  • Good organizational skills (ability to develop workplans, organize work, prioritize tasks, basic understanding of project quality and spending).
  • Proven analytical skills with proven skills in drafting and preparing reports
  • Experience of balancing time between multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Assist in the follow up of projects’ activities to achieve projects’ deliverables
  • Ability to complete tasks on time.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and e-mail skills.
  • Fluency in English, and Arabic are minimum requirements. Knowledge of French is highly desirable
  • Ability to give and receive feedback constructively
  • Capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information, collaborative relationship with clients, partners, and health professionals.
