Darine Dandachly started her career at Audi Saradar Group, where she rotated through multiple operational jobs. She was also part of the product development team, and ultimately became a project manager in the planning group after graduating with a degree in political science from the American University of Beirut in 2000. At Audi, she has built both project design and execution skills, having had to deal with complex challenges and multiple stakeholders. In 2013,she has shifted her career to focus on her passion: social and political activism. She co-founded Soura/Zakira, an organization dedicated to preserving the country’s memory though photography and has been an active member and contributor to its projects since then. Ms. Dandachly also co-founded Qudurat, an NGO aiming at building NGOs’ organizational capabilities through skilled volunteering. She is now a social and political activist, invested in human rights, alternative politics and support of vulnerable groups.
