Caroline Fattal has held management roles in Europe, Latin America & the Middle East. She started her marketing career in Unilever’s European Business Group based in Paris, then transferred to Buenos Aires where she became a Senior Brand Manager. Ms. Fattal later moved to Lebanon where she became the Sales Director of Unilever Levant’s newly established operation. She was the only woman Sales Director in Unilever Asia Middle East & North Africa and the only woman Board Member of Unilever Levant. Following her Unilever experience, she joined her family’s business, Fattal Group, first as Assistant General Manager of the Food & Beverage division, later as Chief Operating Officer of the entire group. She serves today as Senior Vice-President and Board Member. She was the first woman to reach the board of directors of their 120 years old family business. She has been recognized by the magazine Forbes Middle East as one of the 200 “Most powerful Arab Women in Business”. Ms. Fattal is a sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator on the topic of family business, and women’s leadership at the board level. Recently, Ms. Fattal launched the “Stand for Women” initiative advocating for women empowerment and gender equality in the Middle East. She is an angel investor in the first Lebanese Women Angel Fund and a formal mentor for both women entrepreneurs & corporate leaders.
