      Description

      This project aims to enhance women’s participation in local and national elections in Lebanon by providing training programs, capacity-building initiatives, networking opportunities, and media exposure. “Women Leaders in Politics” project aspires to equip over 300 potential candidates with the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently run for Lebanese Parliamentary & Municipal Elections and strengthen their presence in political decision-making positions.

      Activities
      • Conduct awareness sessions across Lebanese regions to highlight the significance of women’s political participation.
        • Equip 300 potential candidates, from diverse regions and political backgrounds, with knowledge and skills to run for office.
        • Provide intensive online political and technical training sessions.
        • Increase aspiring candidates media exposure to highlight their expertise.
        • Organize networking sessions with prominent female leaders and politicians.
      Outcomes
      1. Increase the number of women candidates and elected officials in local and national elections.
      2. Promote gender balance in Lebanon’s political landscape.
      3. Build a network of support between aspiring women candidates and politician.
