Dr. Olfat El Sabeh is an instructor of Business Law, Social Security, Labor Law and Civic Engagement at the Lebanese American University since 2010 and at La Sagesse University since 2014. She graduated from the School of Law at La Sagesse University with a master’s degree in Public Law and from the Lebanese American University with a degree in Business Management.
Formerly, she was an alumni board member at the International School of Chweifat (currently SABIS) and a legal advisor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for few years. Olfat has played a major role in defending human rights and fighting corruption through the civil society movement in Lebanon.
Olfat has participated in many conferences about Oil & Gas, environment issues, obligatory free education and women empowerment. She was also a candidate for parliamentary elections for three times and municipality elections in her district thus promoting the role of women in politics, revolting against corruption and proposing solutions for local problems.
She also served as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputable journals and authored many research articles and books related to Law and Business.
Olfat’s main concern is youth and future generations with whom she has been dealing with for several years now. Through encouraging them, she hopes they will be able to stand on solid grounds via new legal and economic standards that will create different job and life opportunities to them.
